The true gryphon landed back at the cave where Gina and her team were.

"That was... exciting." The gryphon noted as she looked down at Sara who was still in her talons.

"What happened, Gabby?" Gina asked.

"She almost got killed." The gryphon replied.

"Place her near the fire and have Sandra heal her wounds." Gina ordered. Gabby nodded and placed Sara gently onto the ground by the fire that Stephen had set. "Mark, go roll the diamond out front now that everyone's here. When Jack is ready to leave we can move it." Mark walked to the very back of the cave and rolled a giant diamond all the way to the front, blocking the only entrance.

Sara flexed her shoulder "I did not just get killed" She said icily.

"You were close to getting caught." Gabby replied, placing a fish beside the fire.

"I needed to, it was the only way to get to Vlad without drawing a huge amount of attention."

"For one, you probably only would have been put in prison, and two, you can't get to Vlad, we've captured him."

"Don't tell me how to run my missions" Sara half growled.

 

[OwlLover]

"And don't tell us to just sit around when you're in danger." A huge, deep voice growled back from behind her.

"Why don't you keep your nose where it belongs?" Sara half growled, half snarled, turning around slowly.

 

[OwlLover]

The creature slapped her lightly on her back, though it was very strong. "How about you just hush instead of arguing with the people who saved your butt from prison."

"I didn't need saving" She hissed "You interfered with my mission"
