Jack murmured a short reply to Kate, their voices drifting up and out of the cave.

Kate and Jack continued their conversation.

Lark continued to inch forward

Kate pricked her ears and stopped talking suddenly "Does it sound... quieter then normal outside?"

Jack paused to listen "Yes..."

He stopped quickly then Moved over to a thicker brush area

Kate sniffed deeply, her eyes closed in concentration. Suddenly, they snapped open again and she hissed "Lark!"

"Great" He whispered

Kate's lips curled back, revealing her sharp teeth in a low growl.

He now arched lower preparing to strike
