Gabby's clones herded the children into a circle while Gabby herself stood on a rock overlooking them. "Children, your parents and families have abandoned you."

"Not true!" A young lion growled. "You monsters kidnapped us!"

Garron, who was in the shadows, shook his head. "That's what your families want you to think!"

He smiled. "Very well."

Gabriella smiled aswell and raised herself to a sitting position "Your wish is my command, Master Kenai."

"Not true!" A young lion growled. "You monsters kidnapped us!"

Garron, who was in the shadows, shook his head. "That's what your families want you to think!"

The snow leopard growled at the lion, showing her tiny white teeth.

Gabby scowled at the lion and shot down. "What's this?" She growled.

The second lion growled at the snow leopard along with the first.

"Children! Calm down!" Garron ordered, causing all growling to cease.

The snow leopard pointly turned her back on the two lions and faced Gabby.

"But, by the mercy of Glaux, you've been rescued!" Gabby continued after the growling stopped. "And, you will all repay that kindness by labor."
