Jaclyn called a bat over, whispering something in its ear. It flew off to the pelletorium. "The patrol is ready" It said to the half breeds.

"So, he gave you the capital and the lake?" Jerome asked Jaclyn.

"Yup."

The brothers stood and went over to Jaclyn.

She gave them a small smile, flaring her wings as she prepared to fly.

They flared their own wings as they waited for the signal to take off.

Gabby nodded and she flew, Jaclyn and her siblings following after her.

Jaclyn watched Jingo out of the corner of her eye, somewhat suspicious of her but blew it off as they turned in the direction of Lake Lakia, going higher and higher into the clouds.
