Lakia: The Dark Era

"Actually, the city is empty, is just us here now." Sara shrugged, even Santiago had diappeared. "Call of the ignition, or you die along with us."

"Suicide mission it is" She smirked unphased

Sara looked up at the sky to gage the time "Leave her here" She instructed Emily "Our job here is done."

Emily tossed Zenobia aside "Take your minions with you." She hissed.

As they were leaving, Jingo made eye contact with Sara and something seemed to pass between them.

"We will meet again" She assured them

"I look forward to it." Sara replied darkly as her and Emily disappeared into the night.

Sioned was in the city, she had all but a few of her bones broken, she was on the same hill slightly outside of the city, she let out a long Howl, but she knew no one would most likely hear her, she would die, She knew it.

The city was empty, the rebels were gone. All that remained were broken buildings and bodies.

Sara and Emily headed deep into the forest, running side by side. Dawn had broken before they reached the entrance after traveling all night. By mid-day, they reached the city. Jack had called an emergency meeting, and Emily and Sara were the last to arrive. The stone arches overhead flickered in the dim light produced by the fireflies, and got brighter as they got closer to the city centre. A guard nodded to them as they passed by through the iron gates which protected the main building where the leaders and their consultants met to discuss things. Maria, Aiden, Jack, Seth, Lisa, Reid, Julia, Evander and a slender Arctic fox who looked exactly the same as Jingo were already there.

"Sara, Emily!" Maria said, relief ringing her her voice when they approached "We thought you might have been captured."

Sara snorted "Me? Captured?" She shook her head "I have good news though, despite the fact that the city was destroyed."

Aiden ruffled his feathers and looked up "What?"

"She is with Zenobia." She replied.

The fox-who-looked-like-Jingo pricked her ears "How is she? Is she okay?"

"She appears to have gained Zenobia's trust." Emily replied "Her fur is still light too."

"Of course it is." Aiden snapped "If any of us were to be tempted by the dark side, it wouldn't be her."

"So whats the plan now?" Lisa asked.

"We must gather our forces in a central location-- here." Sara said, shooting a sharp glare at Jack who didn't seem to be paying much attention. "That way we won't be as vulnerable to an attack, and our location is still hidden."

Sioned had watched two figures walk into the city, she had a use of her front legs after a while and she crawled near the front gates.
