I have a nine month old hen that is hobbling or hopping. I lost a Sapphire pullet last week that lost muscle strength in one leg and then the other following sneezing and respiratory issue (there is a thread).

. I have a video clip, but I don't know how to get it uploaded.

Have you very carefully checked all the joints from her toes to her hips?

I felt the bottom of her foot and up the leg for breaks , but not the joints. I also noted she curled the toes on that leg whereas the other was spread out.

@casportponyWell, it may be a little less sensitive. She just seems to not want to put weight on it, but she is gripping the 2x4 roost just fine.
Well, whatever the respiratory infection is, it hits the roos the worst. My other roo had been sneezing like the others then yesterday he was shaking his head occasionally. Tonight his head was swollen so much he could not see, and he has a snotty beak snot colored, not clear. I gave him a dose of Tylan. The other roo is thinner but tonight he was not making noise when he breathed.
