Hi having just joined this what looks like a very informative forum I am hoping for some advice please :) A few days ago one of my goats stood on the chickens foot which lead to her toe nail coming off and bleeding. It was cleansed and sprayed with an antibiotic spray to prevent any infection. Today I notice that she is finding it very uncomfortable to walk on her foot or even to move about without hobbling and her feet feel warm incomparison to the other chickens whose are cold. I am guessing that because she has heat in her feet that I have not managed to keep it clean enough and it has got infected? Can I give her any antibiotics to help? and just out of curiousity, should her feet be cold or warm?
    Thanks in advance :)

I would do a course of antibiotics, her foot could be infected.
