Lame duck

So our lame duck is lame again. She stands a little, tries to walk and ends up pulling herself along with her wings. She is noticeably smaller than the others. I'm thinking she is a runt. The largest goose does pick on her and bites at her back. Again no visible wounds or anything. Should I just separate for a few days? The other ducks seem to care for it a bit. Nuzzle her. But the geese bite at her back.
If the geese are anything like mine they won't leave her alone unless you separate her. Give her some time to heal but where she can still see everyone and them her. This will make it easier than if she was in isolation. Injuries to legs and feet take time to heal too. So even if she begins to show progress don't let her out where she may have to run to keep up or run from the geese. Good feed with some poultry vitamins added to her water for drinking and some water therapy where she can float to take pressure off of her legs. is always good. Never leave her in pool though when she may have trouble getting out. Always stay close to help. If there is one duck in particular who is close to this one you can put them both together this will make her feel alot better than being alone too.

Have you checked for any problems with her feet. [bumble foot]? checked her leg for swelling and heat?

So I made a small enclosure for Igor(new name). It's where they go in at night but on grass with shade. They have a mud hole that I watered down. Ducks are socializing with Igor through the fence. Igor is walking more normally again. I have to figure out separation tonight.

What is bumble foot?
Bumble foot is an infection usually starts from a cut or splinter in the foot but it is Staff so can really make the bird sick even kill them if it's not treated and it goes septic. So look on her feet under and all over it usually shows up as a blk scab raised up on the bottom of the foot. the swelling can be so much that they limp and go lame. But staff can show up on the legs and other areas of the body to if their has been a wound that was over looked and not treated.

If you see something suspicious take a pic and post here we can hopefully help you decide if it's bumble, You can also type Bumble foot in on the search bar and find alot of info. Some people rec. cutting it out but alot of us say it isn't necessary if caught early and treated. It takes patience and time but water fowl are resilient and can recover amazingly.
