lame duck

My pekin duck has a lame leg. not sure if it is sprained or broken, can't put any weight on it. what should I do?

Note* Much advise is from a livestock point of view; not a pet. I cull them if broken. If not broken they have a very good chance of recovery. Check for other injuries or infection. It will stop moving around if it hurts enough. You can isolate it to limit activity which would help in mending. It is not hopeless; ducks are pretty sturdy birds. I had one hobble around for 2 months before she quit; then she healed and is fine now. If it is a pet; take it to the vet.
