Hens go broody when you don’t want them to… and won’t go broody when you do. 
1. She's 7yrs old
2. Black silkie bantam
3. Leg isn't broken (I've checked multiple times)
4. Doesn't have bumble foot
5. Bends leg with my help but otherwise it sticks out behind her for balance.
6. Her foot isn't curled up
7. Toenails are trimmed
8. Still eats, drinks, and poops regular
9. Acting normal except for her leg
