A month and a half ago my Wyandotte hen became egg bound and then it happened a second time. Each time she was okay. I missed a couple days of going to see them all, rooster and hens were in the country at a relatives house because of a move. I found her just laying in the middle of the coop and not moving.? She has been in a single pen since then and I think she has hurt her tendon. She’s been on a regimen of poultry nutri drench. She act’s exactly like a hen with mericks disease but she was vaccinated before I bought her. She’s 8 months old and my question is what else can I do for her? She does get out and try’s walking but it’s hard for her. Also I’ve done epson salt baths for her. Any advice or comments on if she will come out of this?

Sorry, no one replied, how is your bird doing?
She’s totally dependent on my care. She hates to walk and I think it hurts her. Her balance is off and her feet are still curled. I’m going to make a sling for her just to get her up in a different position to help her legs. I will take care of her I guess forever but it seems sad to live her life like this. Thank you for replying I appreciate it
