Lame leg

We got some splints but she keeps getting them off no matter how we wrap them. The foot is getting worse. It’s very swollen. so trying to find an avian vet In The area. My vet will see her but he admits he isn’t a bird vet

I hope you can find one that will see her. Limit her ability to move around much until you do. She may not like it but she'll only make it worse. Are you using the vet wrap to hold them in place?

Yes using the vet wrap

the splint we ordered was good but her leg is a bit misshapen and it doesn’t fit right so we had to cut it down a bit and it doesn’t quite fit snugly enough so she can eventually kick it off

What about some foam cut to shape and wrapped?
