Lame rooster

I have a bantam approx 1.5 yrs bought at chicken swap 2 months ago he became lame 5 days ago now has diarea eats fine, just lays and when picked up flaps his wings alto, feet curled, when held on back feet legs move but he went stand. Is there anything I can do or should I put him out of missery. Last night he started pulling at towel aggressively as if in pain. I have to bath him as his boo is awful and all over him.
I feel helpless. Jo

If you took him to a vet, he could tell you if he is treatable or not. It's very hard to diagnose via internet when he cannot be examined in person.
