Over the last several years we have had a number of or chickens suddenly go lame. They would be fine then one day would only be able to take a few steps then collapse to the ground. As the symptoms got worse I would put them down. This morning a three year old cubalaya rooster started with the symptoms. Wondering if others have experienced this or know what it could be.

I'm sorry to hear about your rooster.

You may be dealing with disease like Marek's, it would be hard to know without testing. If you end up putting him down, send the body to your state lab for analysis. You can find your state lab in this link. https://www.metzerfarms.com/poultry...zgmWY7OPuxV1j9tFpBuWsNRDyjNizOXJsszORrPgjoB0Q

Are all the birds roosters that are coming up lame? If so, at what age and what do you feed, including treats?

For the current rooster with issues. What's his poop like, has he been dewormed?
You can try vitamin therapy to see if that makes any difference. For an adult rooster I'd give him 1/2 tablet B-Complex daily for a couple of weeks.
