Does anyone know if these still exist? I've heard of bantam Lamonas being recreated, but I'm talking about the standard. The ALBC (American Livestock Breeds Conservancy) website says that there are still a couple breeders operating anonymously, but I'm not sure if I believe that. Many other sources say it's extinct.
Do any of you have any knowledge as to whether or not the Lamona is still being bred? Boy would I like to get my hands on some of those!

Their are very few breeders of these and mostly on the east and west coast. I knew a guy who raised these years back and he did ship to the coastal areas. His flock is gone now from what I understand. It's hard to keep them up to the standard and still maintain a true lamona.

I'm in Massachusetts so a breeder on the East Coast would be great!
He bred standard Lamonas? How long ago was that?
