Hi!
I am a brand-new chicken enthusiast in Albuquerque, New Mexico. After building my own tractor and finding two Plymouth Rock and two Red Star hens to occupy it, it is clear to me that more chickens are in my future. Next project will be building up a 12' x 24' former vegetable garden fence and transforming the space into into a "chicken palace." I love rare breeds of all kinds, and look forward to exploring this in the poultry department. Right now, the Barnevelders and Marans have caught my eye, as I am most attracted to the prospect of producing high-quality eggs form beautiful birds.
In addition to the chooks, I am the guardian of a bossy Sealyham terrier and a very clever Tennessee Walking Horse.
Looking forward to learning lots and lots and lots here at the BYCF.
