Land of the Lions you ask well lookie here...

I live in central-east Il...and here in the last wk there have been many sighting of these beautiful cats. But little to no sucess have there been any pics, video...so who know if people are just making this up.....But I do have a neighbor that says he had 2 drinking out of his pond just a couple of months ago.

And another person trapped one, took a pic, and them released it again, they just wanted the proof to show people...they really are here in IL and they are on the move to places they have never lived before!!!

I love to see one too, but I would probably wet my pants...lol especially if it screamed, roared, watever you call it!

It is a great shame that so many seem to see nature and even the awesome power of nature as something to be controlled. No matter howmany times they are taught the lessons.

Only people can develop this arrogance, there are so many lessons to learn from nature. The first one is respect, along with the fact that the world is for all of us, to share somehow.

It would be such a sad place without sights like this magnificent creature.
