LANDLORD !*@&@^#^!!!!!

Thats about it. Greedy!!
I gave my bantys to an old lady who lives alone. She will take good care of them. I work with her so I can keep tabs on how they are doing and even visit them if I want to.

Bad credit doesn't neccessarily mean no home. My husband and I went through a horrible bankruptcy when we lived in Phoenix, it was cleared 5 years ago. Our son had $875,000 in medical costs his first year of life, of which, probably $3,700 is late or delinquint because insurance doesn't pay fast enough. My credit score is BELOW 600, as is my hubby's.
We got our home (a *custom* doublewide, LOL) and our 13 acres with very little trouble. This is on an income of less than $40,000 yearly.
Check into all your local banks, especially your credit union, if you're a member. We were backed by Fannie Mae, and that helped us immensely.

Good luck! I lived in apartments my whole life, it was amazing to move into a home of my own.

Always get such agreements in writing.
That way if the other party changes things you'll have legal recourse.

I hope you didn't sell your neighbor any of your birds.
