I live in New Jersey and have a small flock of Black Langshons. And they may be brother and sister. Is there anyone that breeds any in my area. I would possibly trade some eggs or chicks. For other blacks or even whites.
These were given to me. They were very small and thin. But have become some very large and healthy birds. I will try to post pictures soon....Thank

Welcome to the thread, NJNick! I'm on the opposite side of the country in CA and just starting to breed Langshans. I look forward to seeing pics of your birds!

I'll second the above post.
I received the first of my hatching eggs last Wednesday so they have been in the incubator a week. I'm not sure I will candle. Sometimes I think its better to just leave things undisturbed.
The second batch of Langshan eggs are in the mail, maybe will arrive today. I think I'll be able to brood them together, although a week apart is probably pushing it.

Hi Nick, welcome. I am in southeastern pa area and often travel to Woodstown, Nj area. I don't have any LF eggs to trade right now, will by early summer if you are still interested at that point. Post some pictures if you can!

I am assuming LF? I will have bantam eggs in spring to trade also.

I am amazed at the amount of Langshan keepers/breeders that keep coming out of the woodwork. Anybody have any idea how many Langshans there is in the US?
