Mir geht's gut. Meine Mutter will das Post verklagen.

(forgive me, it's late, I'm tired, and I don't feel like thinking, so I will respond in English :p)
Oy, well at least no more school! You're lucky at that!

That's cool. :p My German was falling into a state of disuse anyway, I had to commission Google Translate to help me remember lots of words.

Yeah, no more school, that was cool for, like, a week - but now there are three months of nothing that I've got to fill in. Too many options, and one ends up getting nothing done.
I am however glad that I never have to wear my school uniform again. The shoes were so heavy...

You're doing better than I am at German :p well you've only had classes longer than I have anyway XD

Go like, travel, shut yourself in your room, join the military, something then :p

I've considered all those options, actually. :p

Travelling - I'm leaving in January now because of this stupid visa fiasco so I've got a month and a half to kill still. We were going to go to Tasmania because it's so hot, but my parents are complaining that the tickets are too expensive around Christmas and I've already been bankrupted by this trip to Asia, lol.

Shut myself in my room - there's no air conditioning and I see forecasts for 30+ degrees... Plus there's not an awful lot to do in there :p I could build matchstick structures but that gets boring after a while.

Join the military - I would never be accepted. I am very unfit and I have crappy eyesight. I was thinking about that a while ago but I think you have to do a lot of assessments and what-not, and my classmates had already started that process a year or two ago and therefore I concluded I must be too late.

Bureaucracy...
lol

Ah, travelling on holiday is crazy! But say hi to the Tasmanian Devils for me :p

Play a game in your room or something :p

Not sure what the Australian military is like, but the American military, you don't have to be fit. Heck, I'm quite out of shape, but they shape you up during Basic Training. Perhaps the Aussie army has something similar :3

The what is open?

Yes, I agree with you on that...
I'll tell them you said hi. :p

This might make me sound like a dinosaur, but I don't actually have any games... there's no internet at home, and the closest thing I have to video games is an ancient Gameboy with a pokemon game that I've already played too many times. :lau

...As you can probably tell, I'm one of those people that doesn't spend a lot of my free time at home, lol.

I'm not sure what they're like either, I don't know anyone who's actually been in the army. But I honestly can't imagine myself doing any of that stuff. I have, like, grown up indoors... If I were going to join the army, I'd do so as an engineer, or something like that. Either way, there's no way they'd let me in, I'm quite short-sighted. :p

Okay xD

Aw come on, what does a Fierlin do in her free time for fun then? :p

Ahh, I getcha :3 I dunno why I want to be in the army; I've been raised on pacifism and indoor video games XD
Well my glasses are 2.5mm thick, so yeah :p

Fun? What's that?

lol jk.

If I have managed to do something useful and/or conducive towards my continued participation in society every day, that counts as good enough and I can spend the rest of the day doing nothing in particular.

Yesterday that was filling in forms. I did lots of forms yesterday.

Now that I actually put serious thought to it, I can't think of anything that I do in my free time which would count as a hobby or leisure activity...
I watch movies if there are good ones on TV (usually on weekends)
Recently I spent a few days on this ridiculous movie that is hardly going to happen. But still lots of fun nonetheless. It involves lots on my strange fascination with the end of crude oil :p

I read about interesting things on the internet sometimes.
Now it's the festive season we go to other people's houses for dinner on weekends - happens every year and I'm still yet to make a friend outside school in this blasted country. (And now school's finished, so I technically have to start all over again once I get to university. Great, lol.)

Rhetorical speeches are fun to think up.
Amusing snippets of dialogue find a semi-appropriate place to appear in Virgin & Emirates (the "pokemon game" I was writing - really just collection of amusing conversations that somehow manage to create a usually pretty bland storyline where your main character meets lots of politicians, communists and mining magnates complaining about taxes.....)

I don't wear glasses, I could never be bothered lugging them round on my face... but I do have several pairs and I'm sure they're more than 2.5mm thick. :lau
I became quite interested in military things when I began reading about history last year... it also comes in quite a bit with explosives and aviation, so it's always been there. :p My host father in Germany used to be in the navy and he told some stories about that. It was quite interesting.

Lovely :p you should do some stuff that you want to do yourself more though :p

Glasses aren't that bad :p
Ahh cool cool!

So I got a 12 hole Ocarina today at my local Renaissance Festival :3

Right now, I don't particularly want to do anything.
Eventually, when I have saved enough money, I would probably still like to get a pilot's license, but that's going to take a long time. :p
...And go to Russia, I want to do that too, lol.

What about you? What's on your life to-do list?

No, glasses aren't that bad. I guess I just never bothered to get accustomed to them.

I had to google that. They look kinda cute. :p How do you play them?
