Laptop HELP!

I have a gateway laptop. It says that it takes 5 different types of camera memory cards. My camera uses an xd card. My laptop has one hole, that holds the MS cards. Above that is like this little black piece that pops out. I think thats where the other memory cards go. But where does the xd card insert into the pc. I cant figure this out.

And I cant find my camera cord.

It may not take xD cards. Did you look up the specifications for your laptop? xDis a pretty old format, and can be hard to find.

I still dont get it. Yes, it does take xD. It says SD/MMC/xD/MS/MS PRO.

It would be even easier if you told us the model number of your laptop.

I dont get it. The xD card doesnt fit. I give up. Luckly I found the cord.
