Hello everyone. My name is Jessica and I too have a hatching problem along with hubby. I think the only thing slowing us down right now is the fact we are going to the beach for my B-day and I dont want any hatching while we are gone for those three days. Do any of you hatch year round? I would love to have lots of lovely hens, roos, pairs and trios to sell in the spring. We are one of the only farms in our area to breed and hatch chickens, guineas, ducks, geese, ect. My feed store has already started to talk to us about chicks for next spring. lol We also have lots of people wanting "bitties" and adults in the spring. So the demand is there I just dont know how hard it is to raise babies in the winter. We have a room in our house that I have the incubators, hatcher and brooders in now that I can keep fairly toasty all winter.
