In our cold winter temps i lay r13 foam board on top of the ohios to hold more heat in. nothing fancy but it will make a 15 degree difference in the brooder at 20 degree environmental temps. the plexi on top would be out, but plexi on the sides really intrigues me. Thanks for the discussion and suggestions everyone!
