Does it hurt the hen that laid that. I am not sure which ones are laying but none of them are acting off.

Generally, no. Unlike humans, or even apes, chickens have no bony pelvic ring. Look at their skeletal structure - its designed for pushing out a relatively large egg as compared to their body size - and due to the shape of an egg, even substantial increases in volume due not result in big changes to its diameter.

...and the skin, as we've all experienced at one time or another, is rather elsatic.

Most likely gave her a sore rear. That's a giant egg to pass through a smallish hole.

I saw a video about how an egg is formed in the chicken. It comes "down the pipe" pointy end first, but is laid round end first.

So somewhere, it is sideways as it turns around. ouch....
