Large extra toe

Hi all
I just noticed my speckled sussex hen who is about 3 ½ has a huge extra toe growing out above her 4th toe in back. It is only on one leg and seems mostly hard like a nail. She has always been weird. Doesn’t seem to see bugs like her sister. Gets broody. Is very stand offish.
any thoughts?

Agreed, looks like a spur. Hens can sometimes develop them as they age.
