Large Fowl Cochin - Show potential?

This boy is about 7-8 months old. He was shaping up to be a real nice boy. I never showed him because I sold him.

This boy is 6 months old and took reserve champion large fowl. He came in second to my 1 year old hen.

This boy has only taken best of breed. He is about 1 year old here.

It may fill out some but I dont think it will be enough. He may surprise all of us though, one can never tell. I will take a picture of some of my younger roos tomorrow for you and post them. Right now, the youngest pic I can find is 5 months old. Here he is.

Yeah thats pretty fluffy for 5 months old lol . Mine is around 3 months right now.. He was born April 1st (haha I know), and we got him on April the 4th; according to my journal. (Yeah I had to look it up, it was driving me nuts with just guesses.) Its crazy how big he is right now at that age. My sultans and Polish are a month younger then him. But they are so tiny compared to him. (Then again they are bantams and he's not.) I will weigh him tomorrow to see just how large he is, but from just guessing I would say around 7 lbs

Finally some one else got a great quality from a feed store.

I got my blue polish from a feed store, And he gets 1 and he got BB in show.

Here are some younger birds for you to look at. It does take time for the fluff to really grow in fully.

This guy was born the third week in May.

And this pullet is 20 weeks old. Her mate was killed by my neighbors dog not too long ago.
