As I was putting up the chicks tonight I noticed on the right side of the breast was alot bigger than the left side. It is very notice-able should I be worried, what might it be???/???

Yep thats what I was thinking. I just noticed them on my 5 wk old cornish rocks. About the size of a golf ball.

It freaked me out the first time I saw a full crop on my girls, too. Don't worry, it will be gone in the morning.

If it's a hard lump & feels "grainy" then she just ate well. Should be down by morning. If it's soft, and not down by morning, she might have a "sour crop". Lots of posts around on how to fix that, if that's it.

Ya I think thats what it was! When I saw it, I felt it and was a bit hard. Thats what made me worry a bit but I just went back out and it is soft and spongy! So I felt up the rest of the hens and felt the same. I was picking the them all up to put up for the night and panic a bit, thanks
