Large Silkies

I just bought a pair of silkies, boy and girl. They are waay bigger than my current two silkies. Wings appear smaller and body is bigger and heavier harder for me to pick them up. Does that mean they are large silkies?

I've kind of wondered what the range was for silkie size myself. They're supposed to be bantam, right??? But I've seen pictures of silkies where they look to be as big are standard hens...

In North America we have inbetween sized silkies in my opinion. Back in Germany at the poultry shows Bantams were somewhere inbetween sebright and old english game bantams in size and standards the size of orpingtons!
