large spreading scabs on chickens neck

Our naked neck has had a scab on his neck for a while and it recently started spreading very rapidly and we are not sure what it is or if it’s hurting him. He had fowl pox about a year ago thank you for any help! but the scab eventually cleared up and fell off, but this seems to be in the same spot

That looks like peck wounds. I might separate it and treat the wounds with some antibiotic cream, and watch that flies aren't chewing on it. They also could be causing damage.
