I've used the wazine this morning in their water but they will need a follow up -- the other sticky thread recommends two weeks and then using a broad spectrum wormer following the wazine, which sounds like a good idea.

However, can I use the Verm-x?

I do have a DE wormer, however my chickens free range so much and are so bad with their food (they kick it everywhere no matter what I do with the feeders) that I'm afraid they have not gotten enough of the DE wormer to be effective for them. Vermx Liquid seems more efficient since they have no other water sources.

DE has never been scientifically proven to have any effect on internal parasites​

I use Verm-X. BUT I did the chemical, two step process, Wazine and Ivermectin, before eventually going to Verm-X. Just how I did it.

just an update - gave them the Wazine 10 days ago. There was absolutely no evidence of worms in their poops and I watched carefully for a couple of days after it was administered. Because it was rainy, (and they were getting moisture off the ground from grass, etc.) I did the Wazine two days in a row just to be sure everyone had enough. I thought there would be evidence of worms eliminated, figuring there may be a heavy load.....don't know if it didn't kill them....or if they didn't have a bad case (that it was just a freak thing.) Got the Vermex; going to treat them with it at the 14 day point.
