Largest Chicken Shows / Swaps

Hey All,

Do you guys know which shows are the largest anywhere? I know some are bigger than others, but I'm wondering about the top 10 shows... regional or national. I'm thinking BYC could maybe sponsor some of them and get placed in their literature or whatever.

Ooh... good question!! We don't have any shows in AK that I know of (I'd like someone to tell me I'm wrong... please?

) other than the local fairs in the Fall. And those are NOT big.

If you get poultry press they list most of the Major Shows, Ohio show says they had 5300+ birds, I think the size of the show grows with # of specific clubs that also Join in with thier local/regional shows being held at the same time/location

Not sure but I thought I remeber seeing a list of shows for 2009 on the Orpington club site. That is where I found the Lake City show in Florida.
