I was just wondering whether there are any other nerds out there who weigh the eggs they get at all? - or is it just me ?!
My record so far in last few years have been from a Bresse - 109g, and a 100g shell-less. She was over three years old at the time, and still laying quite well. Still alive, laying sporadically at 5 1/2 years old, and quite a character.
Most consistent are three Rhode Rocks I have - 18 months old, usually laying 5-6 eggs a week each that are between 70g and 85g.
