Lash Egg/Salpingitis

Hi friends! Looking for some advice on giving my 1 year old Brahma Doxycycline. After months of not laying an egg and being off and on sickish she laid what looks like a lash egg. I’m 99.9% certain that’s what it was. I ordered some fish Doxy and just got it in the mail. 100mg capsules. I know she should get .25 2x a day... (I think)? How many days should I give her this? Also, if she isn’t acting really sick should I wait to give her this? Will she ever recover? I know there is an implant she could get but we can’t do that. Any help on dosage of Doxy would be great!

I think the doxycycline dose is 25-40 mg/kg once or twice a day. How much does she weigh?

Is a vert an option? I ask because a better drug for this is Baytril, which you can buy online without a prescription, but getting it from a vet would be much faster.
