Here I go again. My third chicken with lash egg. The last two lived for a good 6 months but I know she won’t have as long as she should anymore. Thats the last time I get ISA Browns. 😞

The last time I used an antibiotic. I think it was Baytril? I am having trouble finding an appropriate antibiotic for her online. Any suggestions?

Unfortunately he vet isn’t an option. Our regular vet left the business due to his illness and our new vet is kinda an ass... looking for a new one but I don’t have one I can take her too. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Baytril or enrofloxacin are available for pigeons online, but are not approved for poultry. Some vets do prescribe it for salpingitis and internal laying. By the time we see lash material, antibiotics may or may not help to extend her life. Here is a link:
https://allbirdproducts.com/products/baytril-10Dosage is 0.05 ml per pound (0.25 ml for a 5 pound hen) for 5 days.
