Lash egg? Vent gleet?

Ok so I thought I had a hen with vent gleet. White discharge, poo stuck in matted feathers, redness, and slightly unsocial and inactive. I brought her inside yesterday and started treating with monistat. This morning I thought things were looking better, but this evening I just found what appears to be a lash egg in her pen. Feels rubbery.

She has been eating and drinking, and really doesn't look off. Any ideas? Will lash eggs create a discharge?

Can you get antibiotics?

I cut it open and it sort of unraveled, and seem like a folded up soft shell. Also haven't noticed any strong odor, and it is about the same color as her normal egg.

How old is this hen? Any laying or egg issues with her before this? It appears to be a malformed egg, but there also may be some lash material along with it. If she were mine, I would give calcium citrate +D once a day, 600-800 mg (citracal or generic equivalent) to help with shell quality and to help with contractions to help her pass anything left inside. Just put it in her beak and push it back, she will swallow it. I would give it for a week, see if it helps. I would also consider an antibiotic to try to stave off any brewing infection from anything left inside. If you give the calcium and she returns to normal laying, then the antibiotic may not be needed. Reproductive infections can be very difficult to treat.
