Lash egg

Does anyone know how to treat lash egg? The vets around me won't see chickens

Can you take her to a vet?

Salpingitis (Lash Egg) is an inflammation of the oviduct. IF caught very early you may have some short term success in treating her with antibiotics. There really is no "standard" course of treatment. Watch to see if she is eating/drinking well.

What ever happened to your hen? I think mine might have also laid a lash egg. Just looking for help/advice. My local vet was clueless.
