Last 3 days in incubator for newbie

Thanks so much for answering my questions, I am getting so nervous knowing they have made it this far and don't want to screw it up now. I have some shelf liner I can use, that's a great tip. So eggs on the wire with shelf liner for their little feet and raise the humidity to roughly 75%? Does that sound right?
yep.

I like my humidity a bit lower, say 62%, but as long as it's up there in that range you can find with this batch how your hatch goes and if you need to make any changes next time.

That's how I do it.

Wondering how the hatches are going? Anyone have pips? I think one of my eggs might have pipped but, I am no expert. So I guess I will wait for a bigger hole. lol

Did anyone Answer the question about raising the mesh up to egg tray height? Does it really make any difference? I would think at this point it would be better to have them down closer to the water tray for the humidity? Just wondering

No need to raise the eggs. The slightly lower temperature is fine.

Many of us use perforated spongy rubber drawer liner for hatching. Soft, ventilated, good traction, reusable with good cleaning. Paper towels are fine but single use.
Yes it was answered.

I have internal pip in one egg at about lunchtime today. Both were live last night. How long between internal and external pip? Its day 21 for pipped egg and day 20 for non pipped egg tomorrow.

I was struggling yesterday with to help or not to help. The first egg I noticed to external pip yesterday morning is attempting zip this morning. I know this is easier said than done but, sometimes better off being patient. I wanted to help a chick that seemed to be having a rough time with the egg-scape part but, just as I was debating to open the bator or not it kicked its way out. Hope this helps a little. I had 6 eggs in the bator for hatch. 3 have fully hatched and one is in process. Moved two more eggs that start lockdown today into the bator and removed all the eggshells this morning. So hoping the 5 eggs remaining in the incubator hatch.

Good luck to you.
