I put my two A Frame coops next to each other so the big 12 week old girls could see the nearly 5 week old small frys.

They went to bed late because they were really curious about the little ones.

Finally the big girls went up their ladder and the little ones all started peeping like crazy. They didn't get the ladder concept at all. So we picked them up and put them to bed.

Lots of fussing. Little Roo last one to get nabbed and put to bed - Had the solar night light on in the upstairs.

Lots of fussing for about 5 minutes and then silence. All four on the roost and sitting low for sleeping.

I papered up the nesting boxes to see if I can train these four to roost at night. The big girls liked to sleep in the nesting box.

No more babies!

Finally, my 16 year old son can have his bathroom back! No more Hot chicks hiding out in the bathroom!

So far everyone is fine.

I heard dogs barking in the middle of the night and imagined all sorts of horrible things but they were just fine.

It is still dark out so I won't lower their ladders until first light but I did go out for a listen and a peek - They have the solar light from Walmart and it is shinning still - (I bought 4 and only 2 work, Lowes and Home depot have some for $5 that are kind of rosey colored lights but they don't last all night but they still light up)

Everyone is looking cozy on the roosting bar. I used paper to block off the nesting boxes. I worried one would get behind the paper.
