well, a cource of antibiotics and more care and effort has helpd my last chick. mumy chicken was glad to be reunited with her lost baby...but she is still searching for the other two. i wish i could tell her they are dead but at least she still has one. i sent the body of the resently pasd chick to a lab. they said they would do an autopsy and grow some cultures to help determin why it died. it was a butiful blue chick i'll never forget how stunning it was.
its going to be difficult to try this whole ordering of eggs and hatching them under a broody again. its very hard for not only me but mumy hen as well.
will let you guys know the results soon. thanks again for your strong support. i wish we had a chicken club here in the northern territory australia sigh....
