I just candled my silky egg for the last time i have been worried as the last couple of times i have looked i have seen no movement but i just had a peek and there is still veining not easy to see but still there the air sac is a good size and baby is a big black mass on one side of the egg so im assuming this should be ok and normal still couldnt see any movement though

5 more days to go and i pray the baby chick will be here its the only one out of a batch of 6 so im desperatly hopeing it survives

As long as you can see the veins- it means the blood is still circulating, movement can be harder to see as they get larger in the egg though. Check the bottom of the airsac- you may see some fluttering type movements there once it is in position to hatch. I bet the last few days is going to seem like it takes three times longer than the incubation so far. Good luck with your little one.
