Is it unusual for birds to suddenly start showing leakage in their feathers? I had a goat go from black to buckskin, but not a buff chicken to black.

Poppy got worse for a bit. She stopped walking altogether for 2 days. I've been giving her Poultry Cell and chick starter mash 2x a day. She's walking again. She has put on a little weight and her comb color looks much better. I think you were right that feeling ill - with whatever it was - followed by the molt just really took ot out of her.
