Last egg to hatch, overdue!!!

Its my first hatch and Im not sure what to do. I have one egg left that is 5days past hatch date. I cracked the end with air bubblle and the chick is alive but no sign of a beak. Should I take my chances and hatch it myself or let it go a little longer? help please

I would say that if it hasn't hatched yet, it wasn't meant to make it. Usually really late hatchers are weak and generally do not thrive.

It's possible that it didn't start developing as fast as the others and is just late. I wouldn't help it unless it has pipped. The prognosis isn't good but I wouldn't give up yet if the chick is alive.
