This is my last egg to hatch and it is zipping long ways .. taking forever and I’m worried ... I did have one egg when I candle them with an air sack on the side of the egg and I’m assuming that is this one ... is there anything I should do and how long can she go trying to get out of this egg ? This is the first time I have ever done this and I am a bit lost with this one and worried ...Any advice is so appreciated

If it hasn't hatched on its own yet, you would be safe now to remove the left side of the shell in your picture, which would include the air cell. It will likely pop right out on its own. If it doesn't, leave it with the bottom part of the egg and let it push away from it.

Once they start a full zip, they should continue, only stopping for a minute or two at a time. Should be completed within a few minutes (sometimes up to an hour or so for chicks or ducks, but quail are usually much, much quicker!)

Warning though, sometimes crooked zippers have leg issues, so watch this one closely.

She he is out but not looking so good flopping around going to give her some time and see what happens

Glad she is out. Did you assist, or did she get out on her own? I’m just curious.
I took the left side of the shell off and a tad bit more becaue it seemed the membrane was like tight paper.... she/he finished on her/his own... but was flappy around on her back curled tight like she/he was still in the egg....Hope she gets her balance.... she just now figured out how to get right side up and her neck and head have straightened out... she is using her beak to balance... fingers crossed she comes along ok.... will update

I’m sorry, I didn’t see this sooner! I call Nutridrench a miracle drug.
I wipe my finger on the dropper, then transfer to the chicks beak. Then follow with several drops of clear water. I have used it for quail also.

How are they doing now?

I put it is her water .... I have her by herself.... she is now 2 days old.... one boot on one foot... i had 2 boots on but her legs were slipping on the paper towels and i don't want splayed legs so i am booting one foot at a time ... dont know if it will work but am giving it my best shot... she has curled feet...the rest are all perfectly healthy

Paper towels can be slick for them, depending on the brand. I usually use puppy pee pads, but they can be a little slick too. An old towel or rag is good if you have one to spare. (I bought a pack of dollar wash cloths, I use and wash and rotate)
The boots should work. They grow so fast, so check it fairly often, maybe every 6-8 hours, leave it off for an hour or so, then replace if necessary.

And most importantly, post some pics!!! :D
