Last to hatch and having a hard time

400

I think he's ready. No blood. No veins I can see, peeping loud and moving. Am I doing ok? Should I stop at that?

He's out, I was putting him back in the incubator and he hatched in my hands. So nervous now. I hope he makes it.

You did good!! Pat yourself on the back! Now it's up to him and mother nature. If you have sav a chick or another form of electrolyte I would make sure to add that to the water and give him that boost as he may be weak/dehydrated from the hatch.

Yay! Love seeing this update. Mine looked like that when they first hatched with assistance and layed like that for about 30 min before getting up and stumbling around. I think they were just weak.

He did lay there for a long time, I was worried he was dying, so glad he's ok :)

Angelikimarie,

Thank you for updating your post, so we were not left wondering! I worried that mine were not going to make it too. Mine are thriving now at a little over two weeks, and after the first day I had no idea who was assisted and who was not.
