Last Two/chicken Swaps Of The Season Nov14 Hooksett&plaistow Nh

I'm going to skip plaistow today and try hookset tomorrow. The last time i went to plaistow, it was a very very small turnout anyways.

Well, we didnt make it to Plaistow because of the rain. So I will be bringing my Silver Laced Wyandotte Rooster to Hooksett. Free to anyone who promises he is not for slaughter. See you there. And try buying something at the Agway when you go. Theres always something you need there anyway.

well we went at 845 by 11 we sold out! i cant believe the people that will brave the rain for some hens! actually i saw a lot of roo's also go.
i feel badly for dodges that both swaps it has rained but i did notice they did well today either way.
we even had a local paper show up to take pictures for a story so that was cool.


anyone selling turkeys or buff orpintons could have done well today as well!!

it was a soaking rain for sure!! LOL anyone that went and saw me will tell you! but it is fun

Wow, sounds like we should have gone!! Figures, oh well, we will go to the Hooksett one tomorrow, a lot closer for us than plaistow.

Wendy, do you have any of the blue jersey giants left? Are they big girls, or just regular sized? Rob would like some.

I will be bringing a big assortment of Silkies and other Bantams to the swap. Including a bunch of Polish females about 5-6 weeks old. Heads up tho, they have had some of thier poufs pulled by a nasty welsummer pullet that we have gotten rid of, so they are all growing some new feathers in the center of thier poufs! Some were starting to look like friar tucks! Not a good look on a female chicken! lol
