So I've had 31 quail hatch so far and 23 are in the brooder, having started hatching 9 hours ago. My thermometers are all over the place, probably due to radiant heat, so I'm trying to go by chick distribution. How does this look to you?
The light is pretty much in the center of the group. They're sleeping a lot but do get up and run around like idiots at times.
Too hot, too cold, or Goldilocks?
It looks just right given they are not all piled up in one bunch.
