It's day 26 for my 2 eggs and hatch day for the other 2. I have a homemade styrofoam incubator I made and believe the temps went down a few times, so that's why they are probably late. I've been waiting patiently and decided to candle one of the day 26 eggs last night. I can see the chicks back pushing up into the air cell, then down, then up. But I don't see it's beak, no chirping. Been like this for about 12 hours. Is it okay?
Hens go broody when you don’t want them to… and won’t go broody when you do.
