Marty, I have already sent my blocks so I didn't follow your instructions. I did send a self addressed return envelope but I didn't put postage on the envelope, I sent return postage separately in the envelope with the blocks. I'm sorry I couldn't do as requested.

Mine are in the mail today too, sent priority.

You can order priority flat rate bubble envelopes from usps.com, there is no charge for them and you're able to put ALOT of stuff in them. Like up to 10 yards of fabric if you fold it right. Those envelopes are $5.80 to ship, including tracking. I use them for all of my swaps on another board.

Can't wait to get these back!!

I used the bubble envelope upon suggestion of the p.o. clerk. Less than $3 for the envelopes. I put my screen name in parenthesis beside my name on the return address since I sent it b4 your notice Marty. Since I noticed through posts that you are doing other swaps- great idea using boxes/ bins to keep them organized btw- I wrote 'Late winter swap due march 1st' on the flap closure of the envelope as well. Hope this helps.

Just FYI, for anyone interested, the max stamps needed is $6.25 to ship up to 15 blocks in any commen large envelope - brown or padded.

Hope this helps. Last swap, several ended up needing postage and were marked "Postage Due".

I guess the extra 10 blocks weighed more...lol. It was seven something on each envelope I sent. No biggie- totally worth it! When the blocks were laid out it looks like we'll all get a nice queen size and with a goodly border a queen with a nice drop. Can't wait:)

Ladies-

Use the flat rate priority mailers to send your blocks. They cost no more than $6, include tracking and get from the west coast to east coast in 3-4 days tops. If you get the bubble mailers they fit over 25 - 12" blocks (or whatever). Whatever fits in it, ships in it.

Marty, I just got out of the hospital a day ago or was it two? I am so messed up! They say it was food poisoning but with the lupus it 10 worst. This is the first time on the computer since getting home. I am hoping to get my blocks finished in a few days I did something new that I wanted to try I was just getting it down when I got sick almost suddenly no warning I was throwing up and the other at the same time. I never, never want this to happen to me again I don't think I could live through it.

Which one of these? The legal flat rate or the padded flat rate?
