Lathargic chick

No you cant give too much water. At of all things water is the most important if you go in there once and a while and give her some water i think she will pull through.Im assuming you have her isolated,Is there that much poop in the cage?

There is some poop in there and all looks like it did last night. I will give her water now and then every hour or so through out the day. I don't know if this means anything but she is puffed up like she is cold. Is that anything to worry about?

She is still a bit lethargic but doing a little better as we speak, I have watched her eat and get some water, she has even scratched little through out the day. Still wants to sit with eyes closed and a little puffed up but still a bit more active than she was yesterday. I have been giving her two eyedroppers of water with electrolytes about every hour. And once again Master, I really want to thank you for the patience and concern you have with us.

No problem.

Glad she is doing better.I would try offering eggs once and a while.Hope she recovers.

Eggs are very high in protein and will help sick chicks. The first food a chick eats is egg yolk,When it first hatches it absorbs left over egg yolk and goes off that for three days.

Just keep the leftover eggs and offer it to her once and a while.Let the eggs cool down.

Eggs were not a big hit but she did manage to get a few bites down. It did look like she had a little bit of trouble swallowing the last bit that she ate. I gave her 3 droppers of water after that and put her to bed. Hopefully that will help her. I will let you know in the morning. Fingers crossed
