Buenas tardes,

Can you help me with some tips on having a new city backyard chicken coop. This is the first time doing this:
1. Accessories.
2. How to keep new chicks healthy?
3. Neighbors concerns?!?
4. Chicken coop is 36"x 76" foraging area.
5. How many chicks can we raise?
6. What type of hen chicks should we buy?
7. Anything else you can think of would be of great help.

Gracias and God bless you

That is a pretty small coop for chickens.
I suggest only 2 or 3 hens, and it will be better if the hens are bantams (small chickens.)

3. Are chickens legal where you're living? If yes, what are the restrictions (number of birds, set backs, coop size restriction, etc.)? Neighbors shouldn't be a concern (in general) as long as the chickens are legal and the coop and run set up according to ordinances.
4 & 5. Coop is 36"x76"? That's about big enough for 3 standard hens. Do you already have the coop and if so, can you post pictures so we can see what improvements, if any, are needed? What about the run? You'd need at least 30 sq ft (and I'd strongly suggest more, that is a very small space) of run space in addition to the coop.
